What is the best job in the enterprise software industry? Imagine a job where every day you are:
- Exposed to a diverse set of industries and challenges.
- Discovering the value drivers and putting together business cases to move your projects forward faster.
- Seeing the actual results from successful data virtualization implementations … how incredibly rewarding!
Best Job in Enterprise Software
That is my job every day! I have the pleasure of working with Composite Software prospects and customers to help them understand, measure, realize and communicate the business and IT value of their data virtualization investments.
Want to know more about how you can incorporate my job into your job too?
My strategy for the Business Value track within the Data Virtualization Leadership Blog is to use this forum as a showcase of data virtualization successes.
Data Virtualization Value Theory and Practice
I plan to mix theory and practice, based on my hands-on customer work.
On the theory side I’ll show you the multiple techniques you can use to calculate business and IT value. If you are looking for a jumpstart, go ahead and explore Composite’s Customer Value Framework.
On the practice side, I will describe real-life examples that prove the point. Again, for those of you looking for a jumpstart, our Case Studies webpage is full of rich data virtualization successes.
And since helping understand, measure, realize, and communicate data virtualization value is what I do, I am open to helping you do the same. So I encourage questions that I can address directly and/or blog about.
