David is the Chief Technology Officer at Composite Software. As CTO, David works directly with our customers to guide their data virtualization technologies as well as with our product development organization to guide our data virtualization technology vision and roadmap.
David joined Composite as VP of Engineering in 2002, and became the CTO in 2006. Before Composite he was a venture capital CTO in residence, the CTO of eStyle, headed software product marketing at NeXT Computer, built program trading systems on Wall Street, and researched natural language processing systems at GE’s Corporate R&D center. David holds a BS in Computer Science from Michigan State University and an MS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Marc is an Executive Vice President at Composite Software where he guides large scale data architecture design and deployment at Composite large enterprise accounts.
Prior to joining Composite in 2009, Marc was Chief Technology Officer at webMethods, a Senior Manager for six years at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), and a Consultant at ZS Associates. At Composite, Marc guides strategy and architecture projects at major accounts. Marc holds a BA in Computer Science from Yale University. He also holds an active TS clearance.
Rick is the Vice President of Worldwide Technical Field Services at Composite Software. In this role, Rick and his team provide a full range of technical services to our customers from initial evaluation to through deployment.
Prior to joining Composite in 2011, Rick was Director of Global EIM and Analytics for EMC Consulting at EMC Corporation. Rick has also held a global director position at Skire, Inc. and vice president positions at Business Objects Americas/SAP. Rick holds a BS degree in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Peter is the Vice President, Product Marketing at Composite Software where he translates our data virtualization product capabilities into clear insights from customer, solution and partner points of view.
Peter joined Composite in 2005 after a number of years as the Director of Industry Solutions at webMethods. Prior to webMethods, Peter was Vice President in the Software Industry group at Robertson Stephens and a information technology consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Peter holds a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
Bob is the Director of Customer Value at Composite Software, a unique position where he works directly with our customers to understand, quantify and communicate their return on data virtualization investments.
Bob established the customer value function upon joining Composite in 2007. Prior to Composite, Bob led Supply Chain Strategy for PeopleSoft and guided manufacturing system implementations for Oracle, Breakthru! Systems, Quantel Computers and Xerox. A JIT and TQM expert, Bob has been certified by the Goldratt Institute, the John Costanza Institute of Technology and the American Production and Inventory Control Society. Bob holds a BS degree in Mathematics from Guilford College.
Bob is the Executive Vice President of Marketing at Composite Software where he advocates the data virtualization market overall and guides Composite’s data virtualization though leadership, messages and programs.
Prior to joining Composite, Bob held executive level marketing and business development roles at leading enterprise software companies such as Informatica, Mercury Interactive, PeopleSoft and Oracle. Bob holds a MS degree in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.
